The Ancient Ruins are a set of puzzling areas that contain many unique Pokémon and few Items. To access Ancient Ruins, player need to take Magnet Train from Saffron City. The map consists of maze puzzles, as well as chess puzzle and finally 25 Automatons that need to be defeated in order to enter the next area known as Millennial Star Tower. Once the player unlocks the different parts of the Ancient Ruins and Millennial Star Tower, he/she can travel between them by interacting with Gems that also heals his Pokémon.
Geography
Ancient Ruins are located in northern east of Indigo Plateau and northern west of Pewter City, however, it can be only accessed from Saffron City by Magnet Train.
