Millennial Star Tower is located in north western Kanto between, and north of Indigo Plateau and Pewter City, however, it can be only be accessed from the Ancient Ruins. Millennial Star Tower is a unique creation of the Pokémon3D development team. It is the home of the Mythical Pokemon Jirachi
Geography
Millennial Star Tower consists of the tower and its immediate surroundings. The tower has 8 floors and access to the roof.
A ladder from the Ancient Ruins connects up to the ground floor of the tower. The ground floor does not connect to the next floor but has 4 doors leading to the exterior of the tower.
The exterior of the tower has stairs leading up to a landing outside the second floor. It also has a Rock Climb wall leading down to a hidden cave containing Lucarionite.
The second floor contains a purple checkpoint crystal and a ladder up to the third floor. This crystal will connect with the "Tower" point on the blue crystal.
The third floor has a maze of invisible walls between the ladder from the second floor and the ladder to the fourth floor.
The fourth floor consists of a Strength/Rock Smash puzzle. The three trigger pads must be activated by maneuvering strength rocks onto them. Each trigger will remove a boulder blocking access to the ladder to the Fifth floor.
The fifth floor does not have a puzzle.
The sixth floor has many cracked ice tiles. Stepping on one of them will weaken the floor so that stepping on the same tile again will break the floor and cause whomever stepped on it to fall through back to floor 5. To remove the slab blocking the way to the ladder every tile must be stepped on once. This will not stop the tiles from breaking which means the path must end in front of the boulder.
The seventh floor is a standard ice sliding puzzle.
The eighth floor is a resting spot before the roottop and contains a purple checkpoint crystal. This crystal will connect with the "Star" point on the blue crystal.
The rooftop is where Jirachi may be battled and caught.
Crystals
There are three types of crystals. All of them will heal you.
- Blue Crystal - This will heal you and then, if you have unlocked a checkpoint, allow you to choose a purple crystal to warp to.
- Red Crystal - This will heal you and then you can warp back to the front chamber of the Ancient Ruins with the train.
- Purple Crystal - This will heal you and then you can warp back to the front chamber of the Ancient Ruins with the train. These work as checkpoints to be warped to by the Blue Crystal.
