Information

Magnemite is a Electric and Steel type Pokémon.

Magnemite is a seemingly robotic life-form that has a grey, spherical metal body with horseshoe magnets on its left and right sides, and a single big eye. It has three Phillips head screws on its body: two on its underside and another on top of its head, like an antenna. The screws serve no noticeable purpose, though the Pokédex identifies Magnemite's footprint as being made by them. Even though Magnemite and its evolved forms are mechanical creatures, they still have emotions, the need to eat, and the ability to reproduce. Magnemite might also be related to Beldum and Bronzor because they are all Steel types that create electromagnetic waves to float in the air.

Magnemite evolves into Magneton at level 27.

Pokédex Entry

It is attracted by electromagnetic waves. It may approach Trainers if they are using their Pokégear.
