The Pokémon 3D launcher is a download manager and information source. It downloads the latest game files and unzips them automatically. In order to play the game you have to start the launcher which provides the option to start the game by clicking a button. It also informs the player about the current version of the game and shows up a popup if the game got updated. One can also get the latest game files manually by clicking the "Download latest version" button.
