Gates are buildings that connect two locations. Within a gate are two NPCs behind desks, and a sign above each door that indicates where the door leads to. There may also be some NPCs that the player may communicate with inside.

Trainer's Tip

You can obtain TM 28 with the Kenya Quest, you can start it in the Gate between Goldenrod City and Route 35, a Guard will give you a Spearow named "Kenya" with a Mail.


You can also obtain TM 36 in the Lake of Rage gate after clearing Team rocket's mission by talking to the Guard inside.
