'''Test''' (or known in-game as '''Testworld''') is a location within Pokémon 3D that is only accessible by editing the player.dat document in the Pokémon 3D file. This can be accomplished by editing their current location to be "test.dat". Its purpose seems to be testing communication with other NPCs, ceilings, lighting, and the underwater effect. It has the same background music as [[Route 29]]. The [[player]] will constantly emit bubbles when they're in this area.

Not to be confused with TestLevel, a similarly named location.

Geography

Test is a small, flat grassland with a cobblestone ceiling covering a fourth of the total area. The area appears to be completely submerged underwater.

NPCs

There are 3 NPCs that are in Test, one appears to be Red's sprite, except orange. Another NPC appears to be the same thing, except blue. The last sprite is that of your in-game rival. The game crashes if you attempt to speak to the orange NPC, and the blue one simply has no dialogue. The rival NPC gives you a couple of options, but at the end, he'll always say "Log Out".
