Day-night cycle
The day/night cycle in Pokémon 3D is the real-time cycle and is set after the clock of the computer the game is executed on or the clock of the server if you're playing on one. There are four different phases that appear at different times: Night, Morning, Day, and Evening.
Current Season
All seasons are estimated and not exact. It might be different. When playing locally, the current season changes every week.

Night |
|
10 PM - 5 AM | The night is the darkest phase. One can see the moon and stars and the clouds are dark blue. There is also a special version of this phase, called aurora borealis. In 1 out of 250 cases this occurs. It adds aurora effects to the sky. |
Morning |

5 AM - 9 AM | In the morning, the clouds are muted white and the sky is light blue. This is the first phase where the sun is visible. |
Day |

9 AM - 6 PM | The day has a bright blue sky with bluish-white clouds. The sun is visible. |
Evening |

6 PM - 10 PM | In the evening, sky has more purple-ish shades and the moon starts showing up. |
Effects
Visually
The sky texture changes with the time. Also, the world is slightly darker when it's not Day.
Pokémon
Some Pokémon can only be found at a specific time of the day. For example, Hoothoot can only be found at night.
List of Pokemon which ones evolves at certain time of day
Morning or Day
- Budew into Roselia with 220 or higher happiness.
- Eevee into Espeon with 220 or higher happiness.
- Riolu into Lucario with 220 or higher happiness.
- Tyrunt into Tyrantrum at level 39 or higher.
Night or Evening
- Amaura into Aurorus at level 39 or higher.
- Chingling into Chimecho with 220 or higher happiness.
- Eevee into Umbreon with 220 or higher happiness.
- Gligar into Gliscor while holding Razor Fang.(Night only)
- Sneasel into Weavile while holding Razor Claw.(Night only)
Trainer's Tip
- It's always night in Lavender Town.
