Information
Porygon is a Normal type Pokémon.
Porygon is the first known modern artificial Pokémon that was ever intentionally created; Golett and Golurk being made by an ancient civilization. It was created by the Pokémon Lab according to a Pokémon Report found in Silph Co. In addition, its presence as a prize Pokémon in the then Team Rocket-owned Rocket Game Corner as well as Team Rocket's earlier control over Silph Co. suggests that Team Rocket was involved in its creation.
Porygon has a pink polyhedral body with a blue stomach, blue triangular prism feet, and a blue rectangular prism tail. Porygon has a pink, polyhedral head that ends in a blue beak and has hexagonal eyes. Porygon is made completely out of programming code. Built into this code is a Silph copyright protection preventing duplication through electronic means.
It evolves into Porygon2 when traded holding an Up-Grade, which evolves into Porygon-Z when traded holding a Dubious Disc.
Pokédex Entry
It is a manmade Pokémon. Since it doesn’t breathe, people are eager to try it in any environment.
