The day/night cycle in Pokémon 3D is the real-time cycle and is set after the clock of the computer the game is executed on or the clock of the server if you're playing on one. There are four different phases that appear at different times: Night, Morning, Day, and Evening.

Pokémon
Some Pokémon can only be found at a specific time of the day. For example, Hoothoot can only be found at night.

Morning or Day
- Budew into Roselia with 220 or higher happiness.
- Eevee into Espeon with 220 or higher happiness.
- Riolu into Lucario with 220 or higher happiness.
- Tyrunt into Tyrantrum at level 39 or higher.
Night or Evening
- Amaura into Aurorus at level 39 or higher.
- Chingling into Chimecho with 220 or higher happiness.
- Eevee into Umbreon with 220 or higher happiness.
- Gligar into Gliscor while holding Razor Fang.(Night only)
- Sneasel into Weavile while holding Razor Claw.(Night only)
Trainer's Tip
- It's always night in Lavender Town.
