| Repels are items to prevent wild Pokémon from appearing.
There are three types of repels that are differencing in their amount of steps they are protecting the player from wild Pokémon. To prevent Pokémon from appearing, your first Pokémon has to have a higher level than the wild Pokémon. Else, the battle would start normally.
