The sleep condition (SLP) (Japanese: ねむり Sleeping) causes a Pokémon to be unable to make a move.

Effect

Sleep causes a Pokémon to be unable to make a move for an indeterminate number of moves.

Sleep lasts for a random duration from 1 to 3 turns, a Pokémon can move on the turn it woke up.

Sleeping Pokémon are vulnerable to Dream Eater, Nightmare and to the Darkrai's Ability Bad Dream.
