Pound (Japanese: はたく Strike) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move.

Pound inflicts damage and has no secondary effect.

Pound has an index number of 1, making it the first move in the game data, Pokémon 3D shares this characteristic with the main games.
Pound is now the substitute move of all unimplemented moves. But the Pound that replaces the unimplemented moves can damage Ghost Pokémon.
