The Fairy type (Japanese: フェアリータイプ Fairy type) is one of the eighteen types.
The Fairy type was introduced in version 0.34. As well as introducing new Pokémon with the Fairy type, a handful of Pokémon including Jigglypuff, Marill, and Gardevoir were retconned to be Fairy-type.
In 0.34 it was only strong against Dragon type and weak against Poison type. All of its other type relations were added in 0.36.3.
