Route 25
Route 25 is a route in northern Kanto, connecting only to Route 24 and dead-ending at Cerulean Cape.
Geography
Heading from west to east, Route 25 begins just north of Route 24 and contains the northern end of the bridge. The western end of the route provides access to the surfing portion of Route 24 to the south and contains a ledged off tree in the norther corner.
To the east, Route 25 comes to a maze of trees, full of Trainers ready to battle. To the northwest of the maze is a patch of grass containing wild Pokémon. Near the east end of the maze, there is a Cut-able tree blocking an area that contains an item. By removing the tree, Trainers can collect a certain item.
East of the maze, the route opens up to its widest point before condensing slightly near the pond near the east end of the route. To the north of a bridge between the two ponds is the Sea Cottage, the home of Pokémon Researcher Bill.
Route 25 continues east, reaching the base of a large hill before turning south and then west and passing along a narrow strip of land between the ocean and the pond. Just to the west of the pond, the route feeds into the "express route", one way portion of Route 24. The existence of the long, narrow bypass south of Route 25 allows for quick, hassle-free travel between Cerulean Cape and its namesake city. However, due to a ledge past the southern terminus of Route 24 in Cerulean City, the reverse is not possible.
If Suicune has already been encountered at Route 14 it will appear on the small hill at the end of the route and will stay to battle the player.
