Ecruteak City (Japanese: エンジュシティ Enju Shiti) is a city located in north western Johto, It connects Route 39 to the north and Route 40 to the west. It also contains the Shining Lighthouse. As with many of the larger cities in the Pokémon world, Ecruteak has a Gym, led by Jasmine, who specializes in Steel Pokémon and hands out the Fog Badge to those who defeat him.

The Olivine Gym is the official Gym of Olivine City. It is based on Steel-type Pokémon and the Gym Leader is Jasmine.
Olivine Cafe
A small cafe located near the PokéCenter. A sailor eating here will give you the HM04 - Strength.

Olivine Boat Docks
Contains the ferry to Kanto's Vermilion City. Currently inaccessible.
