	Starting in Kanto with version 0.43 and ~~ending with~~ 0.58, the end of the version has been marked by an NPC representing [[Darkfire]] as well as a [[Shiny]] [[Charizard]]. Every time the Darkfire NPC says "Soon..." which has led to the NPCs being reffered to as "Soon Bots". The population of Soon Bots peaked in 0.53 with 6 scattered across all three regions in the game at the time. There is a broken 0.53 Soon Bot located in the basement of [[Kolben Tower]].
